Chubbs the puppy

My brother Roderick [who by the way is the bestest brother in the world] finally at long last got what he always wanted for Christmas, a brand new puppy. And not just any puppy, but a Rhodesian Ridgeback!
And not just any Ridgeback, but a showdog! Or at least he will be, when he grows up a bit and learns to walk in a straight line without falling over. Here is Chubbs Nix at 8 weeks old, the day after we picked him up from the breeder.
BTW, if any of you are absolutely in love with this breed [they are very intelligent dogs, great with children, and have bottomless stomachs] you can contact Erin Coogan about the next litter which will be in about a year. She has a waiting list!

Isn’t he just the absolute cutest! Chubbs on the other hand, has grown considerably and doesn’t have all that loose baggy skin anymore. He has learned to jump up, but not yet to sit. We love having them over to visit, although our own dogs Phaedra & Minx are not so sure. I think they liked him better when he was smaller and if he got annoying to them they could just push him out of the way. Now that he’s so much bigger, just pushing him away is not an east task! I promise we will keep you all updated!
And Deb, as for the website design, Mitch planned everything out himself and then we had someone build it for us. It was a 24 page document that Mitch had drawn up for his plans! What can I say, the man never does anything half-way!
