Sea World with the Pepper-Wignall family

The weekend before last I got to experience one of the cooler assignments of my career. This is Why I do what I do!!! The Pepper-Wignall family [I know, they have half the same name as me, how sweet is that?!] asked me to come to Sea World with them and document their vacation with their 2 beautiful boys. I get to do 2 of my favorite things at the same time; taking pictures and watching Shamu do backflips!!! Seriously, So Much Fun. Being that Sea World is in San Diego, I convinced BFF and fellow photographer Sara France to take the day off of work and come photograph it with me! (more…)
So here’s another little wedding detail that I see a few brides overlook for their big day: kick ass jewelry to complement and show off the dress! It doesn’t take much to make it look stunning, and I am a HUGE fan of necklaces. Not just for pictures [although it does look great] but also for just an amazing finishing touch. Think of it as a fabulous bow on an immaculately wrapped package.
OK, actually the bride and groom are both grandparents, but I have never seen 2 people more excited to get married! Seriously, Grace and Richard are the cutest teenagers I know!
My bestest friend in the world [besides Sara France!] had a beautiful baby boy in February, and I couldn’t wait to share him with all of you! Then when he was just 10 days old, he got very ill. He wouldn’t move his arms and legs and was in severe pain. It was pretty scary, then it was just maddening! The doctors couldn’t find out what was wrong with him! Every day they would come and cut away more of him for testing cancers and other stuff you never want to hear coming out of a doctor’s mouth.
Hello everybody! I had a friend today ask if I was dead or doing nothing because I haven’t posted anything on the blog for a couple weeks and I told her no, I’ve been freakin’ crazy busy!!! And she says, well, I can’t tell you’re busy because you never post how busy you are on your blog! And she’s right! So I am making a promise to you guys that I am going to post every single day for the next 2 weeks and let you know all the cool sweet things I’ve been up to over the last 6 weeks! So today we will start with a wedding I shot in Utah this spring!
