We’re Pregnant!!!!

Hello everybody! I know it’s been about 6 months since I last blogged. I’ve had some fun adventures, and you know, I think I learned something about myself. I learned that blogging in the middle of the busy season is a pain in the butt! 
But after hearing rumors of my untimely demise it was time to learn again how to post all the doings of us here at Pepper Nix Photography. I’ve got 25 weddings from the last 6 months to share with you, as well as several dozen family sittings, engagement sittings, and bridal sittings, some fun trips, and not a few incredible stories! This has by far been our best and busiest year yet, and with 2008 already halfway booked up, I can promise that the stories will not stop next year!
In fact, I saved the best news for last…
… my husband and I are pregnant with our first child!
This has been a very, um, eye-opening experience to say the least! It’s a boy, and he is due to arrive in about 8 weeks.
We are currently interviewing for nannies, so if you think hanging out with a Pepper spawnling would be the neatest thing in the world, please email your resume to me!
So stay tuned, and watch for the stories to appear today, tomorrow, and as many as I can this holiday season!

Hello Pepper,
Congrats on the baby!! That is very exciting. I was on your website to see if I could find a mailing address for you and Mitch and saw your news. Send me your address, we have a christmas card for you. It’s of our new little one Chloe Lynn she is 6 weeks old.
Hope you are feeling well and that things are good with the baby, he looks good.
Babies do change everything but so worth it. I’m loving being a mom, it has kept me very very busy.

Welll glad u finally spoke the news…we were dying keeping it a secret! he..he..Congrats again this is going to be a fun journey for you too!! Your gonna be such great parents!! and Im sure baby pictures will come! We look forward to seeing you two next year!
P.s. I used to be a nanny and know of other nanny’s in your area if you can not find one I can help ya out.

Congratulations are indeed in order!! Much love and many blessings on your imminent arrival! Just wanted to let you know that the Notch Tribe has had you on our mind and we miss you dearly. Texas has been a great experience and we are looking forward to trying to get you out here sometime in 2008. The newest member of our tribe is on our website. Emily was adopted just last week, though she has been with us since March 2007. My new neighbors were admiring my photo album and my DVD…I’ve passed along your information. Congratulations Pepper!
That’s great to hear!! I’m sure you’re really excited.
I actually thought of you and wanted to say hello because I’m at ImagingUSA 2008 in Tampa right now. Not sure if you’re here, but I’m here with Nikon (shh, don’t tell Canon). Anyway, I met and spent a little bit talking to Cliff Mautner who was talking about his techniques and experiences with wedding photojournalism.
Anyway, maybe I’ll bump into you, but I don’t know if you’re traveling or not right now, take care and hope all is well!

Nice! Good to see the baby has a shutter finger:) We wish the 3 of you could join us at the ski house… but there is always next year. keep us posted.

oh my goodness!!! i was just having a fond pepper memory when i thought, lets check out her blog and see some of her latest killer images….this is by far the best photo seen on your blog! the shutter finger looks strong, can’t wait to see your photos of the little guy! congrats a million times over. xoxo

Congrats! I can’t wait to see pictures of your little boy. I was just looking at Every Blooming Thing’s website thinking, wow, whoever did these pictures is amazing….then I looked at the bottom of the page and it was you. I should have known! I am always amazed how you make everything look so REAL!
