Stein Eriksen Lodge Wedding Reception | Anne + Jonathan
by Pepper
Here it is, Part II of this amazing wedding! After the wedding ceremony in the Ballroom, all of the guests were invited out to the patio to enjoy delicious drinks and yummy h’orderves with the bride and groom.
I was so happy that we had taken all of the family pictures beforehand so that the the bride and groom could focus on enjoying and starting the celebration with their over 200 guests who had all flown in from the East Coast!
It also meant that I had time to capture the truly spectacular details of The Ballroom at Stein Eriksen, being transformed into something completely different that what it had been for the ceremony! The guests were initially greeted onto the Outer patio where their place cards awaited them on a field of grass with leaves and flowers spread liberally throughout. Soiree also had additional lounge furniture brought in so that there was plenty of room for everyone to be extremely comfortable.

But s much fun as everyone was having outside, it didn’t prepare them for the spectacular view that awaited them inside!

The bridal party really preformed for their Grand Entrance as the Joe Muscolino Band cued them in on a song, but no one did a better job at entertaining the expectant crowd than our Bride and Groom!

They made this face at me right before they entered the Ballroom, and I should’ve known or guessed what they were planning, but i had no idea what I was in store for…

It is at this point that I must confess that Jonathan is one of the best dancers that I have ever seen in a Groom, he and Anne clearly had been practicing these moves for a while! I love this next shot, watching the crowds reaction and Jonathan slips her from on the ground between his legs to airborne a second later!

After that, it was a free-for-all on the dance floor! And all of these wonderful people from the east coast had no idea how much fun Utah is!

The toasts were fabulous. They made me laugh and made me cry, exactly what a great wedding toast should do! i wasn’t the only one who was laughing and crying at the same time…

Instead of a cake, Anne and Jonathan decided to do cupcakes and an amazing dessert buffet with mini pies and other yummy delights…

Anne and Jonathan’s Thank You speech to their guests, where Anne thanked her dad profusely for giving her this amazing wedding in spite of the fact that she voted for Barack Obama last November [that got the biggest laugh of the night, Anne's dad is a staunch Republican conservative while Anne is quite the opposite!

Jonathan and his guys, posing with their new reception dancing shoes…

Jen & Danny Tarasevich, the amazing lead singers for the Joe Muscolino Band!!! Great voices, amazing stage presence, book early and make sure you request them by name!

Anne & Jonathan, thank you so much for this amazing opportunity to document your fabulous wedding day! You two thought of every detail, and with your vendors created something that I know your guests will never forget! Except maybe this guy [who probably doesn't remember much]….

Anne forwarded me the link to the photos and they are amazing! I’ve been anxiously awaiting them since the wedding and they are even more unbelievable than I imagined. You did an amazing job at capturing the happiness that everyone felt that whole weekend, no one more so than Anne and Jonathan.
Thanks, Pepper! I can’t wait to see their final album! Need I really say that
