Happy Halloween everyone!  I’m still recovering from the Halloween Spooktacular, thanks to everyone who was able to come for making it the best Spooktacular yet!  And now, for something completely different…

Let’s talk about Weddings!  The portrait session of the Bride and Groom are one of my favorite parts of each Wedding Day.

I felt very lucky, because even with tons of things going on, Rachelle made sure that she had scheduled about an hour before the Wedding Reception began where we could focus on taking images of just her and her husband, as well as the Bridal Party.  It was incredible!

Because the Wedding was in San Diego, I got to have my BFF Sara France along with me for the day, she caught me assisting in getting Rachelle’s 24 buttons done up again after the luncheon.

I will say, having shot about 320 weddings so far in may career now, I am an expert at getting those things done and I do it without one of those button hook thingys.  I am the Button Master!!!!

The reception took place at Rick’s boyhood home.  I do think there is something so special about having a wedding at home – my husband and I were married at his mom’s home in the hills of Orange County, and every time we go there [which is often] I look at that backyard and remember my own perfect day!

Rachelle & Rick, thank you for giving us time to do all of that, I think it was a lot of fun for your Bridal Party [I know Sara and I had a blast!] and it’s going to look fabulous in your Wedding Album!!!
