San Diego Temple | Rachelle + Rick | Wedding Reception
by Pepper
Wow, what a crazy month! For those who are wondering why I haven’t posted anything this month, it’s November, which for us here means the annual dreaded Album Holiday Deadline!!! All of my brides who want their album in time for the holidays to show off to the family, we have to order it before Thanksgiving, and of course, everyone is getting gorgeous albums to show off, so that means an entire month of me doing nothing but albums! I have not yet caught up on my sleep. But it also means many many wonderful Album Monday segments for the weeks to come.
I broke off in the middle of posting about a gorgeous wedding I shot recently in Southern California [the San Diego Temple to be exact] and I apologize to everyone for keeping you hanging! So here it is, at last, the conclusion of Rachelle & Rick’s Wedding Day!

They did not play nice. Which made for some really excellent images.

In Rick’s family, they have a tradition of all of the siblings getting up and toasting/roasting the one getting married. All of Rachelle’s and Rick’s siblings participated in some way, either by giving a speech or through song.

And finally, Rick belted out his wife’s favorite song that he had been practicing for weeks.

Rachelle dances with her daddy…

… And then with her husband.

Many thanks to Rachelle and Rick for having us out with them on their Wedding Day, and to my BFF and photographer extraordinarie Sara France for being my second shooter for the day, I can’t think of a better way to have fun with getting to do what I love best, with my best friend, working with an incredible couple. It was incredible!!!
Love, Pepper
