After the portraits at the Salt Lake Temple, everyone headed up Millcreek Canyon for the Reception at Millcreek Inn.

Despite the cold, there was no wind and the snowfall from that morning staying hanging on the trees, like they had all been dipped in delicious white chocolate.

This was really fun for me, as I’m not a morning person, and usually when we get a slow snowfall like this, by the time I wake up and get my camera ready, the sun has already breathed on it and the effect has disappeared.  But not today!!!  Here it is, getting very close to sunset, and we’ve still got all of the snow on the branches.   Mmmmmmmmm….

Whenever I go to a wedding and see one of the large Scenemakers trucks pulled in front, I know to expect an exquisitely dressed Reception inside!

While we waited for the rest of the family members to arrive for pictures before the party got started, I kept at it, documenting all of the decor and convincing McKensie to go outside for a few more pictures with Matt and her daddy!

Chef Paco of Millcreek Inn always puts together a beautiful spread for me to photograph!

McKensie & Matt, thank you both so much for having me at your wedding, it was a perfect day and a truly beautiful reception – a sight for the eyes that your guests will never forget!  Congratulations!!!  Love, Pepper
