Newport Beach | Kathy + Ian
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
Kathy and Ian were married in Huntington Beach, California at St. Mary’s by the Sea. The sun shining through the stained glass windows made the cathedral glow. Both families and so many friends came from different parts of the world, to witness the bride and groom as they knelt at the alter and declared their love and commitment to each other, in a beautiful ceremony filled with traditions from the Catholic faith.
Day Four – The wedding may have been over but the party still went on. Everyone gathered the next day for brunch and laughed about what happened the previous night … some could remember more than others
Day three – The wedding day has arrived! Everyone was dressed in their best and couldn’t wait to see Lindsay and Johann tie the knot. Keeping with tradition, the bride and groom didn’t want to see each other until the ceremony at sunset that evening. So, while the women relaxed at the spa and slowly got dressed, the boys spent the day talking over beers anxiously awaiting the ceremony to begin.
Day one – We arrived in Mexico! When the plane landed and all I could see were these beautiful palm trees everywhere, I felt like we were in a tropical rain forest. It was the coolest thing ever! I have traveled a lot of places but, this was a part of the world I have never been to. And, if you’re going to come to Mexico, this is the way to see it! Oh and by the way, when you get off a plane in a foreign country and someone says they will give you a free ride to and from the hotel with breakfast included, you should know it is their attempt to stick you in a room and make you listen to a time share presentation.
Whitney and Ryan were married in Newport Beach, California. As most days in southern California go, the weather was simply perfection; perfect for the day we spent outside under the trees!
The weekend before last I got to experience one of the cooler assignments of my career. This is Why I do what I do!!! The Pepper-Wignall family [I know, they have half the same name as me, how sweet is that?!] asked me to come to
