Everyone, meet the modern version of the Brady Bunch! Casey & Peter and their young families suffered tragedy when Peter and Casey each lost their beloved spouses. A year later, they were introduced, fell in love, and decided to join forces!
We met up as a group shortly before Casey & Peter’s wedding day so that not just the bride and groom would get to know me, but the entire family with all of the kids! Casey & Peter really wanted to focus not just on their love, but on the fact that this really is going to be a union of 2 separate families blending together.
Welcome to Album Monday! Sorry this post is so late in the day, Zen is starting daycare tomorrow so he can interact and socialize with other kids his age more, and while he’s having fun with it, i think his mom and dad are having a tough time!
The weekend before last I got to experience one of the cooler assignments of my career. This is Why I do what I do!!! The Pepper-Wignall family [I know, they have half the same name as me, how sweet is that?!] asked me to come to
My bestest friend in the world [besides Sara France!] had a beautiful baby boy in February, and I couldn’t wait to share him with all of you! Then when he was just 10 days old, he got very ill. He wouldn’t move his arms and legs and was in severe pain. It was pretty scary, then it was just maddening! The doctors couldn’t find out what was wrong with him! Every day they would come and cut away more of him for testing cancers and other stuff you never want to hear coming out of a doctor’s mouth.
A wedding isn’t simply a big party, its also a life marker – the start of a family. We are remarkably blessed to have many our clients return to us after their weddings to have us document their new families. We get to watch these families grow, and as a result, we kind of feel like part of the family, too. That was the case with this couple, married in 2005, who are expecting their first in March/April. Many of the shots from the session are really very intimate, but they were kind enough to allow us to share these few with you.
