So this is our first Tip Tuesday segment.  Tip Tuesday is not my idea, I’m stealing it from Park City wedding planner extraordinaire Lillie Garrido, but since we’re friends I don’t think she’ll be upset! 

Every January, you’ll find me at the Bridal Fairs. Not as a participant, because I’ll be honest, I hate doing those things and setting up booths and all that. I haven’t done a bridal fair in years and years and years and I’m very grateful that I don’t have to do them anymore. But, I do LOVE attending them! It’s a great chance to get to see a bunch of friends, chat up my favorite vendors, and see if there’s anything new and cool that I have to know about. I did find one company that I thought was particularly newsworthy!

OMG, Reem Acra herself is coming to Utah next weekend!!!  This will be her very first trip to Utah, and she is bring her new Spring 2010 Collection which no one has seen yet!  [It will be introduced to the public for the first time next month at Bridal Fashion week in NYC].

So here’s another little wedding detail that I see a few brides overlook for their big day: kick ass jewelry to complement and show off the dress! It doesn’t take much to make it look stunning, and I am a HUGE fan of necklaces. Not just for pictures [although it does look great] but also for just an amazing finishing touch.
