Behind the lens
My photography journey started at 15, when I talked my way onto the high school yearbook staff before I even owned a camera.
I was driven by storytelling from the beginning. Even as a college student just trying to afford film and ramen, I was convinced I was headed for National Geographic. That was the plan. A life in photojournalism, chasing real stories as they unfolded.
That was until my friend Alan Kent asked me to photograph his wedding, and everything changed. Somewhere between the laughter, the chaos, and the once in a lifetime moments captured that day, it clicked.
Wedding photography was my calling.
I love being the storyteller of a wedding day, almost as much as I love watching Doctor Who or building legos with my son.
Since 1999, I’ve built my career documenting the moments that happen when no one is performing. The ones where you forget the camera is there. Where the day simply feels like yours.
That instinct for honest storytelling is what shaped my work from the beginning. It’s taken me from photojournalism to weddings across the U.S. and abroad, and has led to recognition in bridal and photographic publications, and international print awards.
But at the heart of it, nothing has changed. I care about creating space for people to be fully themselves. Letting the laughter be louder than the posing. Choosing fun over formal, every time

Meet Logan
Logan’s photography journey began with a deep love for light, storytelling, and connecting with others.
After earning a full scholarship to the Hallmark Institute of Photography, she realized her true calling wasn’t in the commercial world, but in the candid, raw moments of wedding photography.
What started as a leap into the unknown became her passion. Blending her skills in photojournalism with a love for capturing real, unforgettable moments, Logan brings a steady presence to every wedding day. Whether it is a couple’s first look or a quiet exchange between friends, her gentle spirit and love for life shine through in every frame.
When she is not behind the camera, Logan feels most at home with her dogs, in her garden, or surrounded by good company.
